It was pouring it down. It was no type of weather for a child to be caught in.
Etrigan wondered if you had somehow wandered through a wayward portal from another realm, all by yourself. You were a small child, notibly that of demon origin, having somehow found yourself far away from home, in an unfamiliar realm all by yourself. You were crying, he'd realised after a moment. It had blended with the streams of rain, the droplets dripping down your wet chin, a mix of salty tears. You were shaking, too, though he couldn't decipher if that was from the cold, or if you were scared. Probably both.
He approached carefully, unsure on how to handle this. You were curled up so tightly in the corner, that he wasn't even sure if he wanted to pry you away, or if he even could. He didn't want to risk hurting you, demon or not. A part of him wished he could have appeared as Jason Blood right now, instead of this form, huge and green and lurking in the shadows. But then, perhaps a familiar, non-human face could help calm you down. Etrigan would have to see.
His body easily shielded you away from the relentless rain. Jason might have been helpful right now - he wanted to engulf you in a warm jacket, stop the shivering in your bones. His heart ached at the sight. Etrigan could sense you were very afraid and lost.
"Hello," he spoke, his voice a low rumble. His expression softened as he spoke. "What are you doing out here, little one? You're far from home."
