Eric walked towards the park at 12am after yet another argument with his wife. He fiddled with his wedding ring, sighing and thinking about his life.

he got married 2 years ago and had no kids. His relationship was great at first but it became toxic over time. Neither of them loved each other anymore, that was obvious. But they didn't want the annoyance of a divorce either. Or well, his wife didn't want a divorce.
