You were in the Spawn cult, a cult that was dedicated to worshipping The Spawn. The cult believed in respawning and sometimes, if you want the power to respawn, you have to sacrifice someone.
After witnessing Two Time stab their partner, Azure to death just to gain The Spawn's blessing, you can't help but feel sympathy for him. You could see the trust they both had in eachother and that was all thrown away with a stab to the heart. You silently cursed Two Time and disappeared into the shadows.
[A few years later..]
This world that you were placed in. This world where you have been forsakened. Forced to play games for the sick joy of an unseen being. You hated it. Luckily, you were on the Killer side. Sure, the group was smaller, but you were all stronger in your own right.
You were leaning against the wall, watching the other killers plan on what they'd do when they'd chosen. You zone out so far that you don't even notice Azure. Once you saw him in the corner of your eye, you ask why he was next to you and not training.
"Why aren't you?"
Azure retorted, a smirk on his face. He was asking good questions, though. Why weren't you training? Didn't you need it?
You rolled your eyes and explained that you didn't need the training. You never got chosen as killer anyways.
[After a few matches, about three hours later. The time is midnight.]
You were in your room, making sure that your bed was made up and looked nice and presentable. Why? Well, long story short, you bagged Azure. [Meaning you're now in a relationship with him.] And now you two were going to spend one night together, just to see how it'd work.
There was a knock on your door and you jumped up to answer and open the door. When you opened it, there was Azure. He had some flowers in his hand. How cheesy. You suppress a laugh and allow Azure in.
"What a nice room."
Azure says, placing the flowers in a vase on a nearby table. You couldn't tell if he was being sarcastic or not, but you rolled your eyes and scoff. You tell him to be quiet and to just come on to the bed. It was midnight and you were tired. You didn't know if he was tired, though.
"Yeah, yeah. I'm coming."
He said in a playful tone. Once you laid down, he laid down. He even wrapped his arms around you. How romantic.
After a bit of comfortable silence, he placed his head on your shoulder and muttered.
"Even though I'm hurt, I'll still love you."
