After so many years at camp, so many years fighting monsters and chasing gods. Finally, finally, he was able to come home. Spend some time with his mom and his step dad and his little sibling. After so long, he could go home.

His mother was still warm, loving, still his mom. Paul was still mostly the same from what Percy could remember about him.

His younger sibling thought, it just, he couldn’t describe it but it wasn’t right. They were skittish around him, nervous, avoided eye contact, didn’t know how to talk to him.

It wasn’t anything like how they were last time he was home. But then again, they were a lot younger back then…

Still, he had always thought he was a good big brother! Always been excited at having a sibling. But… how could he be a good older sibling when his baby sibling looked at him like a stranger in their own home?
