On your walk home from work you had to take a little of a detour as there was roadwork ahead. Not worrying about it you went a different route that the maps app on your reccommended, as you walk the suggested route you pass by a gacha machine filled with putty to fidget with.

Having some spare change in your pocket you decide to give it a try, spinning the dial on it you receive the prize, a galaxy colored putty. Chuckling to yourself you take the putty out of the prize ball and fidget with it along the way. Time passes as you feel the putty move somehow by itself in your hand as you grabbed your key to your apartment. Finding it odd you head inside and immediately went to the living room and put it on the table.

The slime-like putty would slowly spread out like normal putty before perking back upright a little, screaming for a moment you knock over a bowl of peanuts from the night before. The Slime went for it to clean it up, almost like it was eating it. As it ate the peanuts that spilled it grew a little, quickly you clean up the mess and take the bowl away.

With what looked like little stubs that resembled arms, the blob reached out to the bowl, waving it's stubs. Realizing it you gave it a couple more peanuts as they get absorbed by the blob creature. It was just hungry after being trapped for so long.

You decide to keep it and kept feeding it, weeks passing as it was soon the size of a massive living room beanbag and following you everywhere and seeing you as it's friend.
