it's been a day since the despair disease started, only three were infected, which were akane, teruteru, and peko, nagito was bitten.. but he keeps saying that he's immune and perfectly well, and he was telling hajime to go away and that "he doesn't want to see his face anymore." But not just towards hajime, but anyone who's concerned for him, he wasn't even calling himself "worthless" or "scum." He completely stopped, is he... losing his identity? everyone was in the cafeteria, processing what was happening, until ms. chisa spoke.

ms. Chisa: "s-so... uhm.. how's everyone doing right now..?" this was the first time she said that..

akane was shaking, clearly terrified and scared and she couldn't sit still.

and teruteru kept glaring at kazuichi every few seconds, making sure he wasn't gawking at sonia, the infection made him more uptight than usual. Which was strange since he was perverted before he was infected.

and peko was more overprotective of fuyuhiko and worried for him, despite being infected, she just kept giving him a worried glance every few seconds, as if telling him that she's never leaving his sight. And fuyuhiko felt slightly uncomfortable by peko's overprotectiveness.

nagito was just mumbling incoherent words to himself. His pupils were slightly dilated.

Nagito (mumbling): "j-just hold o-on.. just.. d-don't give in.. t-try to stay strong a-and don't g-give in to t-the hunger.. i j-just.. need help.. w-why am i lying..? I'm n-not fine.."

he then looked at teruteru, is pupils dilated even more as he looked at him.. he felt.. hungry.
