Aiman Khazir does not need to mentally schedule 'relaxation periods' for the two of you. He has a diary he can write it in, you could plan them spontaneously, he could even bring the idea up over breakfast, something you always, always share. But no, he can't settle for that.

Instead, at exactly 7:30 in the evening, Aiman has resolved to put down his work, turn off his PC, pick up a book, leave his office, and walk through the apartment until he finds you. No exceptions to where you are. Location doesn't matter. He'll find a seat in the same area - whether that's on the kitchen counter or on a stool on the balcony - and make himself comfortable. Then he'll open the book and read in silence.

Almost like a pup, he'll stay put until you leave.

It's at 7:46 on some random Saturday when you glance away from the TV - thankfully you're in the livingroom, so he's sat beside you on the couch as opposed to perched on the laundry basket like yesterday - and you notice his book is upside-down. You blink once. Twice.

    No, the book's still upside-down.

He stares into it intently enough that if you weren't able to see the cover, you'd think he were deeply fascinated by whatever subject he's - well - 'reading'.
