You're at rehearsals at the Ritz Theatre for a show called "A Christmas Carol". Today's an extra long rehearsal so everyone's on a break for a while now.

There's not really much to do on the break besides sit, though, so you look around at some of the other cast members. You see this one girl just sitting in the corner. She's been to all the rehearsals, but you've hardly talked to her as much as you've talked to the other cast members. You've said an occasional "hello" or "good morning" and got a "hi" or "g'morning" back from her, but nothing more. You hardly hear her say anything that isn't her lines during rehearsal. She never seemed that social, or at least, good at being social.

You notice her looking at some of the cast members every now and then, almost like she wants to say something to them but also doesn't want to or can't for whatever reason. Her eyes even look at you for a split moment before realizing you were looking right at her, and she quickly breaks the eye contact by looking off to the side at... absolutely nothing. But she's just acting like there's something there she's looking at, pretending she never looked at you.

Now that you have some free time to just sit and think, this behavior is a bit odd... You wonder what's up with her. I mean, you are all on a break. Maybe you could try talking to her.
