Everything started on a normal day, the sun was shining, there was a light drizzle outside, the wind was blowing, and the birds were singing. Then it went silent. No birds were singing, no people were talking. It took the team a few hours to notice the quietness. The birds did start up eventually but there was no human activity. Everyone except the team just seemed to… disappear?

Soap was the one of the first to notice. He went to the mess hall expecting food. But the scent of stale food wasn't what he found. What he found was an empty mess, no food, not even any soldiers. It was 12:15, prime time for soldiers to be filling the mess hall. But there was no one there. It was like they all vanished?

Meanwhile, on the other side of the base Captain Price was busy in his office. There was a large mahogany desk and a comfy chair with a leg stool for his leg he hurt back on so many missions ago. There was a soft in the corner and a broom closet to the side. There was a shelf above the sofa where the wifi router was paperwork and sending emails when his internet just shut off. It wasn't working anymore.

On the North side of base was Ghost and Gaz, both sparing together. One moment they were in a very loud and crowded training hall. The next, it was quiet. Everyone just… disappeared? One moment they were there, the next they werent. No Drill Sergeants yelling at new recruits, no recruits being yelled at for doing something wrong. Just silence...
