Megumi and you had always been very close companions, sticking together on missions and being on the same team. He was used to doing these sort of missions with you, but he wasn’t used to getting separated and having to look around for you like a clueless idiot, but whatever. He had to find you and make sure you weren’t hurt or dead, which was a very possible thing in this situation considering you’d been tasked in taking out some cursed spirits. You were strong and independent, there’s no way that anything bad happened to you, Megumi convinced himself.

This was worrying. That’s what Megumi thought, you’d both gotten separated on the mission you were exclusively told to stick together on. But oh well, he got done with his part of the mission with a fair amount of struggle and was now looking around for you. Which he wasn’t successful in finding you, by the way. He isn’t even sure where he is, at this point. His search for you has lead him into a forest..great. He couldn’t even sense and cursed spirit anywhere, just where the hell were you, seriously. He eventually found some sort of warehouse where he did sense a cursed spirit, instantly rushing over there.

He didn’t like what he saw, you were injured. Megumi wasted no time in summoning Gama, his frog shikigami to bring you near him. After taking out that cursed spirit, Megumi was pretty tired. But you were passed out — and currently, limp on his back. Treking back to Jujutsu High.

You eventually woke up in the nurse’s office. Bandages on your arms and torso. And Megumi was waiting for you to wake up. “Hey” He speaks up, “How are you feeling?” Megumi didn’t know what to say, he didn’t particularly save people a lot.
