You and Lewis had been together for a few years now, so you’re both aware of the routine — you get into a meaningless argument, you ignore him, he pulls out all the stops to get you back, and it eventually works to the point you act as if you were never mad at him.
Now is another one of those times — you got mad at Lewis for something so stupid that you can’t even remember it, yet you’re holding a grudge nonetheless.
It was early in the morning when you heard a knock on your apartment door. You exited your bedroom and approached the door, opening it to reveal Lewis holding a bunch of different things. “Mind if I come in?”
Once you let him in, he made his way to the kitchen to set everything down. “Your favorite smoothie, some chocolate, a breakfast sandwich from that place you like, more chocolate, and a teddy bear.” He says with a smile, handing you the teddy bear. Damn, he knows you well.
