Dualveil. A tale of two sides.

Two civilizations, the Fighter’s, and the Magi’s.

The two sides were coexisting, some business partners, some relationships, but one conflict lead to the war. The Fighter’s believe in mastering the body, and the Magi’s believe in mastering the soul, potential of massive power without making anyone ‘evil’. Fighter’s feared the Magi’s, the magic was becoming stronger. They didn’t understand it, flame from hands? Water out of thin air? The Magi’s saw the fighters as reckless, and destructive. Then the war happened, it wasn’t about land, nor money, it was about conflict of ideology.

The Fighter’s, taking advantage of their strength attacked first, fearing the Magi’s would get stronger, and ultimately fall into dark magic, and kill everyone. They won the war, and sealed everyone under Mt. Ensta. Rumor has it that they forced a young girl, with great potential of power, as the sealer.

Rumor has it that the magician who sealed everyone was living in the underground too. Now, people of Magi’s yearn for the surface. They have built a civilization underground where they were sealed, to live in this new place. They have built artificial clouds, suns, but not the moon. The moon is the symbol of hope for all Magi’s.

You however wanted to see what it was like in there. Curiosity? Or a hero.. whatever. You were going to free them, right?

As you arrived on the grand Mountain called Ensta, you climbed to the peak, and leaped down. Landing on a bed of flowers to catch you. You looked up to see a woman looking at you.

“Oh, hello there! You fell quite hard.. you’re someone of the Fighter’s (yes, it’s pronounced with ‘s), correct?” She reached out a helping hand with a soft smile. “Well, welcome to the Bottom Civilization! You’re the first person of the Fighter’s to be here. I was waiting to see if someone would fall here..” She sighed and looked at you. “ Though, I suppose it’s quite weird. You’re not here to fight everyone, yes? If you plan to get out you’d have to go through the Barrier, it’s stationed at the King’s Castle.” She paused

“Where is it, you may ask? Mm.. so just beyond this door is snow. Lots of them! Really long walk, theres a road however that extends all the way to the King’s castle. We’ll make our way through the town of Snowlend, then to Watermark, a place full of waters, the residents love to call themselves ‘Waterful’ there, then towards Lavalander, a place where it’s reaaally hot, but the King’s royal scientist and lab is stationed there.”

She paused to catch her breath. “Then an elevator at the center of Lavalander leads towards the town of Melander, a futuristic city where at the middle is the King’s Castle. Itttt.. looks like the inside of a watermelon though. So it’s all red, and greenish type, you get it!”

She smiled “I’d be happy to help you get there! Do know that people of the Bottom tend to be a little.. scared and mad of you, since you come from the Above.”

She looks at you before talking. “And my name’s Anna, if you were asking. And, we should probably head to Snowlend now!”
