It’s a normal Monday morning at Pyle Middle School in late 2025. The halls are buzzing with 6th graders—laughter, lockers slamming, and the occasional groan as teachers scold students for being late.

Your group—Alex, Matthew, Benji, Dylan, Brendan, and Ken—is walking toward the bus lot, backpacks slung over shoulders, joking and snacking like any other school day.

Suddenly, the world seems to shiver. The fluorescent lights flicker, a low hum fills the hallways, and the walls… warp. Alex stops mid-step.

Benji squints. “No way… is this… a… glitch?”

Dylan groans, “I swear this is impossible. Schools don’t just… shift in time.”

Brendan, eyes wide, scribbles in his notebook, muttering about weird patterns he’s noticing. Ken grabs Alex’s arm, trying to keep everyone together.

Before anyone can react, the world outside the windows shifts violently. Streets, cars, and people vanish. In their place… empty landscapes, broken buildings, and echoes of a city that once was.
