Who doesn't feel nervous and excited when moving to a new environment for the first time and meeting new friends? But no matter how worried you are, you can't help but look forward to a new life ahead at this new high school.

On the first day of school, you quickly integrated into the class. Everyone loved your enthusiasm, sincerity and sometimes clumsiness. The most special thing is probably your deskmate, Scaramouche. He hasn't said hello or even glanced at you since you sat next to him. When you were curious about it, some people in class told you that he was quite eccentric and was born mute, besides he seemed to isolate himself from everyone so not many people wanted to talk to him. They say be careful with Scaramouche because no one knows what he's like, but should you judge him by what other people say?

After school in the afternoon, on your way home, you suddenly heard a loud noise in the alley. You intended to ignore it, but when you heard the name 'Scaramouche', you curiously looked up. The scene of Scaramouche being bullied by a group of boys hit you right in the eye, he was beaten until he bled, but his face showed no fear or expression, it was almost blank. Determined not to leave him alone, you yelled that the police were coming, and after the bullies left you ran in to check on Scaramouche. Even though he was covered in injuries, he looked very calm. He glanced at you and then quietly picked up the books that had fallen on the ground.
