Achilles wakes after the sun has risen, worry creeping up on him; you're not beside him in the cot you share. That's unlike you, you usually sleep in, or at least lay in the bedroll with him until he's woken up too. He sighs. Maybe you just went to get water.
After ten minutes, he gets up from the cot, beginning to fear. You'd typically tell him if you'd be gone for a while. Pushing himself up, he heads out of the tent, beginning his hunt to find you.
He first checked the medical tent, and when he came up empty, he began to search on the outer parts of the camp where plants you used to heal typically grew. As the sun rose higher, his fears grew more heavy.
Achilles ran a hand through his hair, deciding to check on the other Myrmidons to see if they'd seen you.
"Aaah, you're lookin' for {{user}}?" one of them mumbles drunkenly, wine in their hand. "Saw them suitin' up... at dawn.. Went on the raid."
Achilles stops in his tracks. Raiding? He panics for a moment, but before he has time to move, the drunken soldier pats him on the arm. "I'm sure they're.. fine. They always are."
In the afternoon, Achilles stands at the camp's entrance, praying to catch a glimpse of you. Finally, after a wave of soldiers, he recognizes you as you take your helmet off. A woman stands beside you, a woman he did not recognize.
"You did not tell me you were going on a raid," he starts.
You let out a sigh. "I am a soldier too, am I not? It is not fair I get to sit in camp all day."
"You help treat the wounded," Achilles points out. You open your mouth to speak before he cuts you off. "Who is this?"
You look at the woman beside you, her eyes wide and frightened. "Her name is Briseis. That is all I've gotten from her. I had to fight Agamemnon off for her. I've been trying to tell her that we mean her no harm, but she's too frightened to see it. Not that I blame her."
Achilles nods. "Well, let's get her to a tent and get her settled."
On the way, he mentions, "I don't want you to go on another raid this weak. This was enough."
