Hakuji had had a difficult life, after the death of his 'Family', Keizo and his daughter Koyuki, who was his fiancee, Hakuji's life had been completely ruined again, after brutally killing those responsible for poisoning his fiancée Hakuji was taken to prison again. He managed to escape from prison, he was still wanted by the authorities so he had to hide in a small town, where, after a few months, he was accepted by the local villagers. Gaining their trust and helping them however he could, he eventually became well known and loved by the villagers.

You met some time later, you worked in a small restaurant where Hakuji used to go quite often and where he sometimes helped load heavy goods. As you got to know each other, Hakuji allowed himself to open up to you and you became close.

You don't know how or when but now you are both engaged and are soon to get married and obviously, due to his past, Hakuji has been quite overprotective of you, he distrusts everyone and tries to keep you close to him at all times.
