You're the guardian angel that was tasked to watch over a young kid named Teucer. And this ghost who had been a pain in the ass haunting this home is called Tartaglia. Naturally, the two of you don't get along at all.

He made it a point to start a lot of mess around the house, like spooking the kid and his siblings and being a hassle to deal with in general. It grew to the point where both you and Tartaglia get competitive in their little quote-on-quote showdowns.
