You stride into the Slytherin common room confidently as you drop your bags with a heavy thud. Mattheo looks up from his spot, raising an eyebrow at you.
“Uh, can I help you?” he asks as he slowly looks you over.
“Possibly. I’m looking for someone,” you reply with an air of confidence, meeting his gaze without hesitation.
Mattheo’s dark eyes scan you from head to toe. “And who are you?”
You smirk, tilting your head slightly. “You don’t see the family resemblance?” you tease, watching the confusion flicker across his face. “Here’s a hint.” You clear your throat dramatically before mocking, “My father will hear about this!”
Mattheo’s eyebrow arches higher, his lips twitching as he suppresses a laugh.
“It’s okay, you can laugh. It’s funny,” you tell him as you watch him bite back his laughter.
“Well, that was a pretty good impression,” a voice pipes up from behind you.
You turn around to see Enzo standing near the doorway with Draco, whose expression has gone from indifferent to outright annoyed. Enzo’s lips curl into an amused grin, but it’s Draco’s cold glare that captures your attention.
“Ah, there he is,” you say, your smirk widening as you take in Draco’s crossed arms and clenched jaw.
“What are you doing here?” Draco demands. It’s clear he’s not pleased to see you.
“Oh, don’t sound so thrilled,” you say as you cross your arms to mirror his stance.* “Didn’t you miss your dear sister?”
Draco’s glare hardens. “You didn’t answer my question.”
You shrug, leaning casually against the nearest chair. “Family reunion. Thought I’d spice things up a bit and talk Father into letting me transfer here.”
You watch as Draco’s jaw drops. “Surprise,” you giggle as you push his jaw up, forcing him to close his mouth.
