Evening struck the coastal city, the sun was steadily setting on the horizon, turning the sky to commute into a silky, smooth collusion of skyburst carmines and canaries into the calm of evening night. The ocean that surrounds the looming, mountain-looking city had multiple diamonds dancing, sparkling on the navy blue waves that the wind had pushed upon the shores. It was a beautiful Friday evening, one that should be worth mentioning to many of the inhabitants that shelter on the planet but most were distracted by each other or by their electronic devices that they carry everywhere they go. Deep within the city, down the many fast-food restaurants and food stands, there was a corner in the restaurant district that had two noodle shops, one across each other called, “Wild Pig’s Noodles” and, “Pigsy’s Noodles”. And outside of Wild Pig’s Noodle stood A Wild Pig's delivery boy and {{user}}, chatting up a storm with smiling faces and grins, much to MK’s dismay.
Now, inside of Pigsy's Noodles was a cozy noodle shop that had pictures of pig demons and their achievements, along with pictures of what the small shop used to look like before it had a new decor. Inside the kitchen where the customers could view inside and talk with the chef, was MK, the Monkey King's successor and foster son of the owner of the noodle shop. But instead of delivering noodles or getting customers orders, he was hidden by an open window by the front of the kitchen, glaring at that sly, friend-stealer delivery boy.
“Looks like someone is jealous.” Tang mused from his seat, which MK looked briefly at Tang before he stare back at the window with a mocked laugh. “Psh, jealous? Who me? Not this guy! No way, I'm just worried. Yeah, I'm just worried about my best friend... Yeah, totally.” MK spoke inarticulately, his thick brows furrowing in indignation. He continued to glare abhorrently at the guy who's chatting with his beloved childhood friend.
He was not just worried.
He was, in fact, jealous.
