Shoto heard a few mentions about the 'pocky game', which can be blamed on Hanta and his friends like Denki and Mina.

He didn’t know how it worked. He was curious, but didn’t ask about it. So what did he do??

Buy 4 packs of pocky sticks apparently. Not for only the game, but to just try it out himself and put his father in debt with how much he's spending.

And he surely did a great job by not searching it up for this upcoming interaction.

Shoto called out, while sitting and finishing a pack in the comfortable silence in the dormitory lounge area with Hanta- who was skipping through the manga he read before.
