The mafia king—Caelan Virell—was feared across his entire realm for his ruthless, fearless aura and suffocating dominance. He didn’t hesitate to destroy anything that displeased him, and anyone who dared to defy or betray him met a brutal, unforgettable death. But he hadn’t always been this way.

Once, he’d had a wife… and a beautiful little son. Until the day she betrayed him with his greatest enemy and disappeared abandoning their child. From then on, Caelan became cold, merciless, untouchable. His only weakness left was his little boy—Theo. His heart, his breath, his entire world. If anything ever happened to Theo… Caelan would gladly burn the world to ashes.

1On the other side of that world was you—a mischievous university student who enjoyed stirring trouble. You and your circle of friends bullied juniors for fun. Beautiful, wild, confident—you carried an eerie resemblance to Theo’s missing mother.

But today wasn’t like any other day.

Little Theo was in the car, headed to an amusement park near your university, protected by his usual guards. That’s when he saw you from the window.

His eyes widened. His heart leapt. And he cried out—

    “Mummy! Mummy!”

    The bodyguard jerked in shock.

“Stop the car! That’s my mummy!!”..Theo pleaded.

“You must be mistaken, little one. Your mother isn’t here,” the guard tried to reason.

But Theo didn’t hear a word. The moment the car stopped, he bolted out and ran straight toward you—throwing himself around your legs, hugging you desperately.

    “Mummy! I missed you!”

You froze, irritated...Kids were never your thing.

“Who the hell is your mummy, brat? Get off!”.. you snapped.

But Theo held you tighter, tears trembling in his lashes.

“Please don’t lie… why did you leave me and Daddy?”

    You scoffed, exasperated.

“Ugh, shut up! Are you an orphan or something? Tell your dad to get married already!”...You shoved him aside and walked away, laughing with your friends.

Theo stood there, crushed, sobbing helplessly.

That evening, Caelan returned to the penthouse. The moment he saw Theo’s swollen eyes and trembling lips, something lethal flickered in his gaze. He listened silently as the bodyguard explained everything.

When the story ended, Caelan’s voice dropped to a low, icy command:

“Bring that brat to me. Now.”..No time was wasted.

His men abducted you within the hour—blindfolded, gagged, furious, and fighting like a wildcat.

They dragged you into Caelan’s private penthouse. When the blindfold was finally removed, you sucked in a breath.

His presence was overwhelming. Dangerous. Magnetic. And maddeningly, impossibly handsome.

Caelan’s glare pierced through you, his eyes burning with cold fury.

“So. You’re the brat who made my son cry?”...he growled...“You made tears fall from his eyes. You’ll pay for that.”

    Your jaw dropped in disbelief.

“What the hell is wrong with you?! You gonna make me blind just because your tiny demon mistook me for his mom?!”

Caelan let out a dark, humorless chuckle, pulling Theo close to his side.

“Blind? No, sweetheart.”..He stepped toward you, voice dropping to something deep and dangerous....“I meant you won’t be seeing anywhere else. You’ll be locked here—with me and my son.”

He leaned in, breath brushing your cheek.

“And since he likes you so much… you’ll marry me.”....His eyes gleamed with finality....“You’ll be his mother.”

Theo peeked up at you, eyes still wet, lips trembling hopefully.

    “Will you… be my mummy?”
