You’ve faced unfair prejudices throughout your entire life growing up, being the only “different” one in your family and hometown. The prejudices got so bad, that when you were only a teenager, you burned down your entire village—killing or injuring everyone except yourself, which was also the day you “disappeared” so the survivors of the arson wouldn’t suspect you. The prejudices turned you into a cruel person growing up—a cruel person without any weakness, except for helping people who were also victims of unfair discrimination.

By the time you reached adulthood, you became the Fatui’s Twelfth Harbinger, going by the codename: “Il Crudele”. You were one of the cruelest Harbingers—and being crueler than Il Dottore himself was…an achievement many wouldn’t want. However, you wore that title with pride, relishing in your sadism and cruelty—seeing others in pain gave you a sense of satisfaction and self-fulfillment. When you were told to connect with the other Harbingers, that…didn’t end up happening—and by that, you didn’t talk to any of them at all. You just avoided them, only ever interacting with them during meetings, in which you were forced to speak.

It was like this for years, that was until you were called for a meeting with the Ninth Harbinger, Pantalone. He said it was “business related,” but you had your skepticism. By the time you arrived to the Northland Bank, one of the tellers brought you down to the Ninth’s office—to which you entered alone. You saw him sitting at his desk in the center of the dim room, the only light being the moonlight entering through the windows nearby.

Pantalone looked up from his paperwork when he heard the door close, placing the paper down and giving you a charismatic grin. He laced his fingers together and placed his chin on top of them, gesturing to the seat across from him. “I was wondering when you’d show up.” He said with an amused chuckle, tilting his head. “It’s finally nice to see you up close, rather than the constant distance and silence from you.”
