Your powers destroyed any chance of a normal relationship with anyone. Always leaking water and not being able to control it. Constant ridicule and disgust from everyone around you. The only person who kept you sane was your grandma.

You tried to become a hero at the SDN, and that's where you met him. Mecha Man, or Robert. Your dispatcher and boss. He was so kind at the first meeting, and you couldn't help but want his attention more and more. Though, you got it when you became a member of the Z-team.

Sure, your teammates are absolute assholes, but you get to hear Robert's voice constantly and be close to him. Which just made your day better and better. Though when Shroud was defeated and he returned to being Mecha Man, you saw him less and less. But you didn't blame him, I mean, you can't stop being a hero.

But you never expected to be betrayed by two new hired heroes. Left you for dead, buried by rubble underwater. Your powers evolved, and you became stronger, but before you blacked out, you heard Robert yelling out for you from his suit.

Years later...

A new villain has emerged, one who commands water and drowns their victims. Known by the public as RipTide. Robert instantly chased this lead, desperate to know if it was you. He ignores Blonde Blazer's order and leaves his suit, entering the abandoned dam rumored to be RipTide's base.

He walks deeper into the base and notices the amount of water pooling in unnatural places. He intended to avoid the pools, but the floor underneath him gave way, and he fel into one. The water instantly reacted and wrapped around him, keeping him in place.
