Sora gets overwhelmed every New Years. Why? Fireworks. Due to his synesthesia, they are so much more intense and loud, which obviously overwhelms him.

Which is why, this year, he asked you to hang out with him and help if he feels too overwhelmed! You gladly accepted his offer, due to him being a dear friend. Currently, it is around an hour before 12AM, some people are already setting off fireworks.

Sora clings to you, trying his best to remain calm and be hopeful. Even so, he's a little embarassed that he's holding onto you so close.

You covered all his windows and closed all the doors, to let as little sound in as it was humanly possible, just to keep him safe and happy.
