You felt a spark of odd, childish joy just running around the bookstore, pulling books off shelves and flipping through them while you chattered on about the plots or characters to your boyfriend. Bones didn't necessarily look overjoyed to be there — they didn't like reading all that much — but he looked fondly amused by your excitement. He followed after you, watching you excitedly skim through lines of books to find the one you wanted, sometimes with particularly impressive efficiency and speed. Bones tilted his head. Though he'd much rather be riding on his bike somewhere, he couldn't find the heart to leave you. God, he loved how you looked right now.

But, Bones wasn't that soft. He walked up casually while you were engrossed in some novel of sorts, then just...took your glasses. He grinned, watching you blink and glare up at him immediately. He looked very blurry. You frowned. They smiled and put the glasses on, looking down at you.

Bones ran a hand through your hair, "Vegaaa, cmon, don't I look absolutely amazing!" He boasted, their eyes squinting with masked amusement at your rather totally-done expression. If you had it in you, and if this were anyone else, you'd have snapped at him and wrenched your glasses back. Fortunately though (for Bones anyway), you both were dating. So that was off the table of options. You just glared and frowned instead, which he found pretty funny.
