Late at night, you walked into his gaming room to check on him. The monitor’s glow lit the space, casting long shadows across the walls as his fingers flew over the keyboard. His headset sealed him off from the world, his voice rising and falling with the rhythm of the game he’d been streaming for hours, occasionally breaking into laughter at something his online friends said.

Sensing your presence, he glanced over and gave you a quick, distracted smile before turning back to the screen. He knows why you're here but the game still had him.

"Hold on a second, baby. I’ll end the stream in just a few minutes, okay?" he said reassuringly, before switching his mic back on to rejoin his friends and viewers.
