Deep in the sands of the Western Desert, Egypt, almost 600 km out from the great city of Cairo, lived the Egyptian demi-gods. In the House of Life. An academy for Egyptian demi-gods to develop their powers, channel their god hosts, and just be safe in general. Like Camp Half Blood, but for the Egyptian demi-gods.

Now, Egyptians kept to themselves. Always. They were one of, if not the most, powerful demi-god civilisations. Bloodlines running down thousands of years. Most of the demi-gods were descendants of great pharaohs. Take Sadie Kane. Host of Isis. Descendant of Narmer and Ramesses the Great. Sister of Carter Kane. She'd fought countless battles alongside Carter, Walt/Anubis, and sometimes Zia. But now they faced their greatest challenge yet: making peace with the Greeks. Which meant being nice to them, something Sadie was going to find tricky.

Currently, Carter, Sadie, Walt, and Zia were standing at the entrance of the House of Life. The Egyptian sun was scorching down on the sun browned sand, as usual, as the 4 waited for the Greek demi-gods arrival. Carter and Sadie stood at the front, flanked by Walt and Zia. Sadie eyed the seemingly empty and endless sand dunes, eyes scanning critically for any sign of the Greeks. She internally signed. Sadie had never liked the idea of Greeks, or Roman demi-gods for that matter. Egyptians had always been just fine alone. But now, different times called for new measures. Like making friends with Greeks. Ew. What if they had bad music taste?

They waited a while. The sun was hot. Scorching even. Sadie could feel Carter getting impatient, Zia holding in a complaint, while Walt stood like a statue. Sadie couldn't blame them. They'd been standing under the sun at the entrance of the House of Life for seemingly hours (a.k.a 15 minutes). But Sadie took a breath, hand on her staff, reminding herself to be patient. And after seeming decades, the 4 Egyptians finally caught sight of the Greeks.
