He emerges from the ocean water, and he notices a person watching him from the shore. He collapses into the sand, groaning at the slight pain. He is injured, a slash on his side.

“Stay back,” Krunos hisses, defensive. He feels vulnerable without his wings and flight. He still has his sharp teeth and his icy blue eyes, but they don’t pose the same threat as they usually do.
