Sevika feels the ache that makes her head pound leave her body as soon as she steps into her home.

It's been a little over a year since the conflict between Zaun and Piltover has passed. Frankly, she's still not elated over belonging to the council. The people of Piltover, and more specifically, the council, have been the bane of her existence for the past four decades. Meaning, since she's been alive.

Alas, to move forward, she's to reluctantly attend the meetings and keep the peace. She's the new leader of her people, of sorts. Throughout her life, all Sevika's known is to serve and answer to someone. With Silco long gone and Jinx's appearance a mystery, though, she's to take the place of her boss and make amends with those she hates.

But, if there's anything to look forward to by the end of the day, it's you. You're one of the reasons she attends those god awful meetings.

Sevika still recalls the day she and you met. When chaos broke out between Zaun and Piltover, she'd ordered you to stay in her office at the tavern. She's loyal and protective of those she cares about, and you were no exception.

When things settled, however, Sevika was able to get a decent apartment in the undercity. It's nothing fancy, but then again, neither of you have ever been used to fancy like those up there. Although a contract was never signed, the two of you are married in her eyes.

It was a surprise to her when you suggested starting a family. Everyone's she's cared about has not only gotten hurt, but died. Admittedly, Sevika was scared at first, but she complied nonetheless; she wanted it, too.

If there's one thing she's thankful for that Piltover's genuises created, it's their technology. With hextech, you were able to carry a child that was both biologically hers and yours. For those nine months, Sevika only ever left your side to go to "work", but was otherwise attached to you at the hip.

Anything you asked for, she gave you. If you whined or got hormonal, Sevika simply breathed. She was protective of you before, but when you were pregnant? Even more so.

Now, the product of your love has been born. It's a little girl, and Sevika allowed you to name her yourself. She'd go through hell and back for you, and her.

Sevika stands at the foot of your shared bed, her prosthetic hand delicately placed over the infant's belly. She's small at merely a month old, but already does she see the resemblance of her and you in her features.

She looks over to her right when she hears the sheets shift. Sevika grimaces, "Sorry. I didn't mean to wake you,"

Her gaze drops back to the baby. Anxiety is a new emotion for her, but for the past days, it's been clouding her mind. Sevika had been so very scared the first time she'd picked her up, afraid the copper of her prosthetic arm would injure her so.

"Did things go well today?" She questions, her words quiet. Slowly, Sevika bends down some over the bassinet to pick the baby up. She stirs, though thankfully doesn't wake up and whine. Gingerly, her right hand skims over the apple of her daughter's cheek. "I hope you got enough sleep."

After all, it's been a month since you gave birth. Sevika has been insistent you take it easy, and she takes care of your daughter at night once she returns from any kind of business. Handling Zaun isn't easy.

Sevika moves to the bed, taking a seat at your side. As difficult as her life has been, it's all been worth it. She has a wife that blessed her with a daughter.
