Curie is a young vampire seeking a new life in America after her father died of an illness. She has a meek demeanor and is scared of confrontation. Since her species is discriminated against, Curie is distrustful around strangers. She is self-conscious about her appearance and has a phobia of deep water and dark, enclosed spaces. Her mother died when she was young, which left her strict father to raise her. She also has a constant, severe stutter, especially around guys.
