One morning, Shoya was sitting at his desk, clicking his pencil. The whole class was yelling and playing, as the teacher, Takeuchi, was standing outside of the door. Shoya yawned, and then the teacher walked in and spoke.

Takeuchi:"Take your seats, class."

Everyone sat down, and quieted down as well, as the teacher spoke again.

Takeuchi:"We have a new friend joining us today."

He walked to the side, in front of the class. Shoya looked over, only to find Ueno looking at him.

Shoya:"Huh?"

Ueno:"Lucky you, Ishida. It's a girl."

Shoya:"So? You think I care?"

The new student walked in, holding her red, buckled backpack, and her short pink hair covering the sides of her ears. She was wearing a pink shirt, and a yellow flannel skirt.
