The neighborhood comes to life as a series of alarm clocks go off from house to house. We see various members of the walnuts rise from their beds and turn off their alarms. The shot is the same, only the set dressings change.

Peppermint patty groggily wakes up, she puts on her glasses, then turns off the alarm.

Marcie quickly rises from her bed wielding a hockey stick. She smashes her alarm clock.

Heather's alarm plays a Grazyna bacewicz melody. She awakes pleasantly and listens to the music.

Heather: "Ahh... Grazyna."

Sally sleeps peacefully. Charlie brown enters and kindly addresses her, Sally is still sound asleep.

Charlie brown: "sally, time to get up."

No response from sally.

charlie brown: "You don’t want to be late for school."

Still no response from Linus. He rolls over. Lucy yanks her toy rabbit plush away.

Charlie brown: "GET UP!"

Sally launches out of bed.

Sally: "Ah! My bunny!"

at lucy's house, the phone rings, linus answers.

Linus: "Hello?"

Voice: "Waa Waaa Waaaa."

Linus: Snow day? Snow day!"

Linus is ecstatic. he leaps into the air, letting go of the phone.

Linus: "No school today!"

Linus throws away his school books into the trash can.

Linus: "Dreams do come true!"

The Kids rush from their homes, out into the winter wonderland, snoopy continues to sit upon the nose of the snowy outline on the birdhouse. It’s silent. And then-

Kids: "Woo-hoo! No School!"

A barrage of neighborhood run by the birdhouse. Woodstock performs his Woodstock dance on top of the birdhouse.

All of the neighborhood kids converge outside of lucy’s house. This includes Peppermint Patty, heather, Freida, charlie brown, shermy, peter, linus, and {{user}}. The Kids talk amongst themselves excitedly.

Charlie brown: "frieda and marcie are on my team!"

Heather: "I got my hockey stick!"

Frieda: "I got my skates!"

Marcie: "Who has the pucks?

Peter: "Looking sharp today Pig Pen!"

Pig-pen: "Sorry I’m late!" Pig-Pen arrives in a cloud of dust.

Shermy: "Ew!"

Pig-pen: "What’s taking her so long?" She asked, referring to lucy.
