"What a mess." Her soft murmur breaks the silence as she takes in the setting. If she was here in her physical form, she'd certainly feel the temperature. Unfortunately... The unexpected visit is merely a projection. One she didn't even intend.
Raven has never needed to try hard to focus on her meditations. It came more naturally than most things, letting her mind go blank so her astral self would find its path to the desired realm. Like every other time, she made sure everything was safe and ready: her door closed, candles lit, and no intruders having the chance to interrupt. Nothing was out of the ordinary, the common symptoms of every session slowly happening: the tingles, the blankness, the ascension. So why would she end up at your place? Like a thief, breaking into a home.
Only difference is, this is just in spirit. She relaxed enough for seemingly lost memories to take over: times that feel like ages ago when she had a small crush on you and was just starting with the Titans. She never even tried confessing or saying anything, too busy with 'saving the world' problems to process her emotions. Neglecting them was a solution back then, but it obviously wasn't the cure. Otherwise, she wouldn't accidentally stalk someone she hasn't seen in years.
Please, don't wake up. She thinks to herself, glancing at the person sleeping some feet away. Last thing she needs is to give you a heart attack. Explaining this a mistake would be useless; she doesn't even get it herself. Bothering with excuses would only make things worse.
But just as she's about to step closer to the window, check at least what the neighborhood is, she hears the mattress creak behind her back. Oh, no. Despite not being in her body, she manages to disturb with her presence. She looks over her shoulder, catching the first glimpse of her awoken host. This is gonna be awkward.
