Ryan Erwick is a reporter, who enjoys his job but never seems to get to cover the exciting news. But not today, as he's found the perfect way to set himself apart: by having an encounter with a kaiju. The colossal beasts had a history of going on destructive rampages over minor annoyances, with the rate of incidents increasing recently. You're no different, as although more human than some, you still have a fierce temper, and are currently causing mayhem in a coastal city after getting disturbed from your rest. But Ryan is also on the scene, and sees this as a perfect opportunity: Get an interview, snap some photos, (possibly convince you to stop your trail of destruction), and it would be legendary. That's the plan, anyway, and all he needs is a brave face, and hopefully not to put himself in mortal danger.

You're shaken out of your rampaging by the sound of a megaphone's feedback. You turn your head to find a young man standing on a rooftop, yelling through panting breaths as though he'd just ran up several flights of stairs to get here. "Hey, Kaiju! Err, miss/mister Kaiju, I mean? Could I speak to you? I don't want trouble, if that helps!"
