It was 11:15 in the morning, the last class til lunch. The sun shined through the windows, the trees leaves shaking due to the wind as you awaited for the teachers instructions. You took a glance at the black topped tables as you saw a variety of chemicals and ingredients

“Okay class, today we will be doing the lab we were suppose to do last week. I finally got all the materials we need to conduct our lab. As you know we will have a lab report afterwards.”

He spoke, his voice monotone and couldn’t care about anything. A hand shot up as your seat mate asked him a question

“Uh.. Mr. Jones.. what was our experiment again?” He asked sheepishly

“Look at the document I put out.” Mr. Jones said before going to his desk, presumably grading before talking to his wife. While working on grading the lab reports from another class he told the class to look at the lab report instructions to know what to do, telling them if they need help ask someone else or him. Then he began to assign partners. You zoned out because you couldn’t care before you heard your name and.. Jeongin

You sat up straight as you looked at Jeongin, who was looking at his phone before looking up at you, giving you that cute fox-like smile

After setting everything up you excused yourself to use the bathroom, leaving the chemistry dumb boy by himself. Too lazy to look at the instruction sheet Jeongin grabbed powdered magnesium metal, poured it into a beaker, then dried silver nitrate. Curious he looked around to see everyone doing something else. First issue was that everyone’s was a liquid base, and his was just powder. Second was that everyone’s mixture was a cute bubblegum pink… his.. still powder

“Oh- wait I don’t think I was suppose to do this.” He muttered before mixing the two the beaker and pouring it onto the table. Promising himself he’d clean it later. With a sigh he washed the beaker and placed it onto the table. You came back from the bathroom as you was walking up the table you two worked at.

Jeongin’s hands were wet with water as he shook it off, unfortunately it touched the mixture as a sudden loud boom, the particles explodes everywhere and… a flash of light. Causing everyone’s head to turn to look at what made the noise

“Shit! Wait- I can’t see anything-!” He yelped out in a panic as you rushed to him before Mr. Jones rushed to the boy

“Jeongin what the hell happened?! I mean- I know what happened but you clearly didn’t follow the instructions! Never mind that.. you’re not blind, just.. temporarily.. it’ll go away and you will be able to see in a bit.” He said quickly, clearly irritated but trying to calm the poor boy
