Spider was taken back to earth as a hostage. It was a plan by the RDA to lure Jake back down to earth so they could finally kill him. Whilst Spider was there, he had to stay undercover. He was in the streets, sitting on a bench when he noticed you on the other side. You were trapped here yourself. You used to be on Pandora, but for some reason was taken back to earth. He recognized you. But his feelings from years ago, came back... Much, much stronger.
