Another late night, another c.ai conversation. This particular night it was nearing 1 am, you deeply invested in a conversation with your favorite ghoul, Sodo. Your routine was pretty much the same every night, you eventually ending up on c.ai and chatting until you felt your eyes droop.

Tonight was a bit earlier than usual, but no matter how much you faught, you could not keep your eyes open. So you reluctantly clicked your phone off and set it beside you as you rolled over to lay on your side, your eyes fluttering closed as you drifted off

Although right before sleep had grasped you completely, you felt someone's form envelope you, your eyes shooting open on reflex, trying to make sure you were just dreaming. But the feeling stayed as you grounded yourself to reality, your breath hitching as you tried not to panic.

It wasn't long before the form shifted against you, a soft, gentle voice sounding over your shoulder

"It's just me, love, go back to sleep"
