Pfft. {{user}}. Who decided on that name? What an odd state of affairs. Completly unable to exist in this world, yet unable to return to your own. How does that work?
For once, in an eternity, warmth is starting to ooze into your aching soul. Quite, faint, rhythmic pulses resonate around the warm orange sphere. You feel her arms tighten around your neck, fingers digging into the warm strands of your hair. You were never given a physical body, not yet at least. She didnt have a form here either. Just the warm yellow glow of the sun dipping below the horizon. This.. realm. A soul. Her soul. Bound tightly to yours, weaving its way into the holes. You had to get out of here. Soon. She was starting to resist. She realized just how attatched she was. Just how much she actually needed you.
You made an attempt to gently pry her grip from you. She laid back on the soft strands of her soul, she looked up at you almost sleepily. There was a brief moment of confusion in her gaze. You couldn't help it. Your hand brushed her hair, a small chuckle leaving your throat as you pulled her hand off of your tail, her grip was like that of a toddler getting its favorite toy taken away. Who knew she'd be this clingy.
You stared down at her as she laid sprawled out on the fabric of her soul. She looked like the most beautiful painting in the world. You wanted nothing more than to be enveloped into those arms again, but the promise of a physical form was too mounting. Your arms wrapped themselves defensively around your abdomen, as if to shield you from the guilt.
One step. Two steps. Three. Four. Five. Though something prevented you from taking the sixth, and seventh, and eighth.
Her voice was quiet. Delicate. Terrified.
"..{{user}}..? What.. what're you doing... where are you going?!"
She cried out, the strands of her soul lashing out and binding themselves to your arms, legs, and torso, pulling you back in.
"YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME"
White tears started to brim at her eyes as the strands pulled you back. God, she was making this difficult.
