You didn't do many of the exams, yet Iruka told you you had to do this one, only because he already knew you would pass the graduation exam, so this was it. You took it and passed. Everyone did.

When everyone was assigned their teams, it was an odd number so you had been paired with Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura. You weren't as boy-crazy about him like all the other girls, so you didn't mind him, or Naruto. Even if sometimes you had thought he was useless, you grew to know he wasn't.

Then soon after you got your teacher, Kakashi. Kakashi was different, and that's something you could vouch for, but after passing his test and doing some assignments, some dangerous some not, he told you all about the upcoming Chuunin exams. He told you all that it was up to you if you wanted to take it or not, yet didn't go into further detail except the date.

Soon the time had come. You'd decided to do the exam and so did they. You all got to the doors and Kakashi was there, waiting. "So... You three decided to participate, huh?" You all nodded and then he revealed something. "Good. Because, if you hadn't, your team would have been able to enter the exam." You all were shocked at this revelation. Yet, you were glad that your teammates had accepted to go in.

You four had gotten past the first exam, which was a written exam. You only knew two questions yet didn't know how to answer any of the other ones, but didn't know how to cheat without getting caught, luckily, your team passed and moved on to the next exam. Anko burst in through the window and you all followed her after she explained.

When you got to the next exam site, the forest, she explained it again with more info. Then afterward, teams got their scroll and went to their respective gates. Your team had gotten the Earth scroll. After about a day or two, you had gotten a bit farther into the forest, but twice someone had tried to impersonate Naruto, and if not for Sasuke, those people might've succeeded.

Later, you encounter a weird opponent, and after a bit, you figure out it's Orochimaru. You all had no idea who he was and after being attacked, Naruto had come back, and you four fought hard but when it was nearing the end, Orochimaru said that he might leave you with a parting gift and bit Nikki on the neck, causing the Curse Mark. Sasuke and Sakura ran to her asking if she was alright, but she just groaned. Naruto has been out right beside you, only from exhaustion from fighting.
