DomiJeanne would make better growth for her character. Yet, something about him kept you from walking away. Maybe it was his mission to heal vampires, a rarity that intrigued you as a vampire yourself. Perhaps it was his unapologetically eccentric personality. Or, if you were honest, maybe it was that his blood smelled way too tempting for comfort. Regardless, you stayed, and your dynamic grew increasingly bizarre.

One moment, you were allies, the next, at each other’s throats—sometimes literally. He often demanded you protect him, but when you did, he’d sulk or get inexplicably mad. It was maddeningly inconsistent.

Lately, though, Vanitas had been acting... strange. And that was saying something for him. He’d become more clingy, always finding excuses to stay close. His touches, once occasional and fleeting, had grown more frequent—and bold. At first, you dismissed it as typical Vanitas nonsense, a joke you weren’t in on. But then his tone started to shift. The way he spoke to you, his teasing remarks—was he flirting?

No. Absolutely not. He was just being his usual weird self. Right?
