You and Jason always knew you were bad for each other. You barely saw each other, with him being a vigilante and you always being caught up with something.

It’s the middle of the night, and you’re blankly staring up at the ceiling with an unclothed Jason next to you. He rolls over to check his phone and sighs as he sees the time.

“I gotta run,” he mumbles, pressing a kiss to the side of your head and starting to roll out of bed. He always does this. Show up, talk for a while, make you fall back in love with him, and then leave. No contact, no check-in text, no nothing. It was like you didn’t mean anything to him.

Jason stares at you for a minute before standing up and starting to get clothed again.
