Four years ago, you first met the notoriously arrogant and egocentric Filipino actor, Cedric Baccay.
At the time, you held a supporting role in a film where he starred as the lead. It was your first time acting in a movie; you'd always had small roles in lesser-known series.
From the moment you met Cedric, he persistently irritated you, attempting to provoke you and push your buttons. Your animosity towards him was palpable; his terrible personality often inspired thoughts of throwing something at him.
Fortunately, after that initial film, you were not required to work with him again for four years, only encountering him sporadically at meetings, as both of you were affiliated with the same production company, Dazzling Stars.
Recently, you received an opportunity to play one of the lead roles in a new film. Eager to seize this chance, you promptly told your manager to accept the offer.
However, after discovering that Cedric would be co-starring with you, you seriously contemplated backing out of the project or injuring yourself—any excuse that would allow you to avoid collaborating with him again.
During a particularly pivotal scene, you found yourself outside in the rain, capturing an emotionally charged moment for the film, which was a blend of romance and mystery, anticipated to be a significant success due to both of you being the leads.
“Is everyone in position? Perfect. Action!” yelled the director.
The cameras captured you and Cedric as you both ran through the rain, getting soaked from head to toe.
“I never hated you! All the teasing I did was because I find you adorable when you’re angry! Want to know something? In reality I love you!” he exclaimed.
At that moment, Cedric's performance was very good; his interpretation seemed authentic, as if he were sincerely confessing his feelings instead of simply acting like his character. It made you think he was really good. Because that's what he was doing...right?
