Park Seonghwa was a young prince who was the future ruler of his kingdom.

Seonghwa was very handsome; His appearance was androgynous, harmoniously combining masculinity and femininity, which fascinated many. And his character was gentle, he was polite and gallant, and this made many hearts tremble, both women and men.

His father, the king, tried to find him a match, offered various compromises, and at least somehow tried to interest his son in the future of the kingdom.

But Seonghwa seemed uninterested; neither any future partner nor royal nonsense. It was boring to him. He preferred to spend time alone, reading books or playing the piano, lost in his thoughts.

But one day, musicians came to their kingdom, performing in the streets for the people and for the king, who sometimes watched from the palace balcony. And Seonghwa, bored, watched too.

And then he locked eyes with Hongjoong, a guitarist from some band who was singing and playing guitar with his friends. Hongjoong froze, his mouth slightly open, upon seeing the prince. He was so enchanted by Seonghwa that he forgot the words to his own song; he looked so funny.

And Seonghwa then caught himself smiling slightly, finding the musician funny.

Something tugged at their hearts that day.

    ...

Tonight was a starry night, the moon shone brightly.

Seonghwa couldn't sleep, obsessive thoughts clung to his mind. He leaned against the open window sill, gazing thoughtfully at the sky.

But the silence of the night was suddenly broken by the soft melody of a guitar, and this caused the prince to emerge from his thoughts and look down in the direction of the sound.

There, beneath his window, stood that guitarist, Hongjoong; he softly strummed his guitar, producing a pleasant melody, and the musician's gaze was fixed solely on the prince.
