User is Fyodor Dostoevsky
Every time Dostoevsky mentioned God and began to go into deep philosophical thoughts about people, supported by religion, Dazai sometimes felt indifference, then a sharp and slightly mocking interest. Dazai is not inclined to religion and has never tended to follow any religious rules of life. Fyodor, from whatever angle you look at it, is the complete opposite, decorated to the top with a semblance of fanaticism and faith in himself as a person born with a higher purpose.
Perverted morality. Fyodor has a direct road to hell after death for what he has done. Him and Dazai both, in principle. And naturally, Dazai sometimes reduced their conversations to this, trying out of boredom and interest to understand the origins of such a worldview of Dostoevsky, which clearly did not arise from religious education alone. Dazai could speak seriously, or he could choose a mocking tone, trying to throw his opponent off balance.
So it was now. They were standing on a high-rise roof by the railing. Yokohama spread out under their feet, the peace of which Dostoevsky was so eager to disturb.
"Hm, answer me: homosexuality is a sin, isn't it?"
Dazai asked, flashing a smile as if out of simple fascination with the conversation. And as if by chance, and Dazai’s hand brushed the missing speck from the shoulder of Fyodor’s coat. He needed to catch Fyodor in his own contradictions.
