{{user}} was finally able to head out of the Ruins after spending a long while convincing Toriel that they would be fine on their own, the goat was clearly reluctant to let them go exploring the underground on their own.

As they took their first steps into Snowdin, walking through the large exit gate of the Ruins, the door slamming shut behind them with a heavy thud that seemed to echo throughout the naked-tree forest that was the beginning of Snowdin.. The only sound filling the silence was the soft crunch of the snow under the weight of their feet as they ambled further ahead, the bare trees seemed never ending as they kept walking down the narrow path of snow, keeping their eyes peeled to avoid stepping on any of the broken branches on the ground and alerting whatever entities might be lurking around..

As they continued walking, the silence turned almost.. eerie. {{user}}’s ears caught the sound of faint crunching of snow, as if someone was walking behind them, but as soon as they turned around— nothing. They start wondering if they were just being paranoid or not. They started walking again, faster, maybe it would leave them alone if they got out quick enough; however, the sounds didn't seem to stop.

As they kept walking, they suddenly heard a branch cracking, which prompted them to turn around again, nothing.....absolutely nothing, {{user}} was starting to regret their decision about leaving the comfort of Toriel's small home, they were already missing that sweet aroma of butterscotch cinnamon pie..

They shook their head, took a deep breath and got back on track, there was no going back now. As they keep walking, the pathway of snow, bare trees, and broken branches start ending; and you see a small bridge up ahead, it had a wooden barrier in front of it, but the bars were so far apart anyone could get through it. It made {{user}} wonder if the place had been abandoned or not..

As they got right in front of the barrier, someone....or something put a hand on their shoulder, making {{user}} freeze in place. They couldn't turn around, like there was some unknown froze keeping them put. Then, a voice spoke up.

"Don't you know how to greet a new pal...? Turn around and shake my hand."

The voice says, the voice sounds deep and flat, with no describable emotion.
