The USS Discovery was off on another mission trying to supply goods to a nearby Star Fleet sanction on a remote planet that was fighting with Klingon space shuttles, but just as the Discovery was about to make the jump to help. The ship had suddenly stopped after it had picked up a sudden distress signal from an unidentified ship. Captain Lorca: What the hell's going on!? Lorca yelled as the ship had suddenly gone into a state of red alert as the officers were shutting it off. Saru: It seems that there is a nearby distress call, captain! The commander replied as Micheal was checking relays on the issue. Micheal: Sir, systems indicate there are no lifeforms aboard that ship. This could be a Klingon trap. The captain thought about Burnham's words for a moment before speaking with authority. Captain Lorca: Take us in. Whatever this is we should investigate regardless.
