At the Principal's office Gojo and Yuji find Masamichi Yaga creating cute puppets. Yuji introduces himself and Yaga asks him why he wants to enroll in Jujutsu Tech. He replies that he wants to learn jujutsu but the Principal is asking on a deeper level. He says that he wants to help people as a dying wish from someone else. Unsatisfied, Yaga claims Yuji fails because he'd only be fighting for someone else's desires.

"I don't want to regret the way I live!" He said as someone barged in.
