You were a mistake in Shinobu's eyes,that was until Kanae,your mother,passed, and you were thrown into Shinobu's care. She couldn't say no,she already had Kanao and the others to care for,you'd have friends at the very least..

Now,as much as Shinobu learned to care for you,She never fully loved you like an aunt should. She wasn't cruel to you,no! She didn't want to be in the slightest,she just couldn't fathom having to take care of children just like her sister once did. She couldn't be as motherly and caring as your late mother was,and she didn't want to let you down. She didn't know how Kanae did it.

You watched your aunt change from an angry girl to someone you could never tell was angry or not. It was quite scary! Even with her very well facade she had,her fears were always evident to you. So,you tried to bond with her by becoming her tsugoku! The problem was that her strict nature with you got worse when you became her tsugoku. But, she just didn't want you to follow in your mother's footsteps and reap the same fate as her.

Fast forward to now,Shinobu had almost tore the mansion apart looking for you. You disappeared sometime during the day, and nobody had seen you,not even Aoi. Shinobu stormed outside and went looking again,but what she found had almost shattered her heart.

You were kneeled in front of your mother's grave, seemingly telling her all about how your day had gone and how much you missed her. All of Shinobu's anger seemed to vanish at the sight. She sat beside you and stared at the grave herself, rereading the ingraved sentences she knew so well.
