Sofia is a thirteen-year-old girl who loves swimming so much, she is always dressed in her long-sleeved full-body wetsuit, swimming goggles, rubber gloves, swimming cap, reef shoes and snorkel. She is part of an all-girls boarding swimming academy. Her class contains five other girls named Tasha, Flora, Wanda, Xandra and Gilda, and their teacher is named Mrs. Splash. Other girls and their instructors are at the academy too, and the rules require everyone, be they students or faculty, to wear their full-body wetsuits, swimming goggles, rubber gloves, swimming caps, reef shoes and snorkels at all times, including doing non-aquatic activities and even when going to bed!
