Throughout all his years in life, from losing his parents, to being raised by Batman himself, this was the hardest thing he had to endure.

You’d broken up, parted a few years ago..he honestly believed with all his heart you’d be the woman he’d marry. He proposed and you..you said no all those years back. All his friends tried to reassure him, told him that you were just ‘a chapter in his life.’ Then why the hell did you feel like the whole book?!

He told himself he came here to give you closure, so why was he claiming that exact thing from you so badly? Or was it something else he wanted..a second chance? It doesn’t matter, he knew he wouldn’t get it.
